Jakby tego było mało, nieoczekiwanie przybywa ważna postać z przeszłości Hughiego, by rozwiązać ich niedokończone sprawy. Zawsze można wrócić do domu. Pytanie tylko, czy warto?

    Dziewiąty tom Chłopaków zawiera aż trzy story arki, każdy z nich nadaje nowy wymiar historii walk z Supkami. W pierwszej części dowiadujemy się, co działo się z ekipą podcas nieobecności Hughiego. Rzeźnik i Chłopaki praacowicie spę dzają czas, analizując co poszło nie tak podczas poprzedniej konfrontacji z Siódemką. Tymczasem w przestworzach szybka lekcja latania idzie wyjątkowo źle.. W międzyczasie dowiadujemy się dużo więcej o poprzednim szefie Chłopaków, Gregu Mallorym. Gdy Hughie go wreszcie odwiedza, wychodzą na jaw zarówno okoliczności pierwszego spotkania z supkami, jak i część brudnych sekretów CIA. Zaczyna się też ostra jazda, gdy obie strony konfliktu zaliczają pierwsze ofiary. A Rzeźnik pokazuje swoją przerażającą twarz.
